Ny copy of "Women, fire...." is all marke3d up with points of convergence between Lakoff and Chat. but I am
pretty sure that I saw a critique of Lakoff from a chat perspective somewhere,
maybe in an article either in or submitted to MCA.
I am using a chapter by Lakoff in my course on langage, mind, and media
right now as it turns out.
Victoria-- Perhaps you could tell use what ideas of Lakoff's ought to
make CHAT theorists uneasy?
