Right, Andy.

LCHC has been a major source of support for MCA because it started here.
but it is an international journal, and whether it remains anchored at
UCSD. The xmca discussion
could or could not go on in any form imaginable. Whether or not there is
sufficient interest and willingness of people to collaborate in such an
effort is an open question. Like the future always is.

As Alexander Luria wrote an eon ago in the last paragraph of his
autobiography:

"People come and go, but the creative sources of great historical events
and important ideas and deeds remain."

Its an optimistic view, but seems appropriate to the circumstances.
