Re: [xmca] Death and dying
Anthony -- Ana Marjanovic-Shane reminded me, recently, that Bakhtin
describes death as a gift to those who survive. We can finally make art of
the life of the person who died. This is because there is now an ending to
the story -- some type of ending that lets the story/life live on.
I have been thinking of this observation a lot lately, and can find you the
relevant quote when I unpack my new office -- if you like!
