A postdoctoral research position is available on a grant-funded project
entitled "The Development of Working Memory" to Professor Chris Jarrold and
Dr John Towse (University of Lancaster).  The post is for three years from
October 2010, and will be based in Bristol. The focus of the grant concerns
the factors that constrain 'complex' working memory in children, and how
these factors change with age and drive academic attainment.



The Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol is a
strong and active research department that contains a number of
postdoctoral researchers and is committed to their professional development.



If successful, you may be appointed either on a fixed term or a permanent
contract depending on the extent of your previous relevant research
