I'd be very grateful if colleagues could bring the following advert to the
attention of any graduating PhD students or junior post-docs looking for a
position this autumn.
Chris Jarrold

Chris Jarrold
Department of Experimental Psychology
University of Bristol
12a Priory Road
Bristol BS8 1TU

A postdoctoral research position is available on a grant-funded project
entitled "The Development of Working Memory" to Professor Chris Jarrold and
Dr John Towse (University of Lancaster). The post is for three years from
October 2010, and will be based in Bristol. The focus of the grant concerns
the factors that constrain 'complex' working memory in children, and how
these factors change with age and drive academic attainment.

The Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol is a
strong and active research department that contains a number of
postdoctoral researchers and is committed to their professional development.
