move; following our recent appointment of 3 excellent Research Lecturers in
visual processes, we have additional appointments available (Yes, PLURAL).
These are Research Lectureships along the same lines, which carry a reduced

College of Arts, University of Western Sydney
The School of Psychology seeks scholars with expertise in human learning (as
a foundation for later application to clinical psychology), developmental
psychology (including aging), personality, neuroscience, social psychology,
abnormal psychology, or research methods.

The School of Psychology has research concentrations in mental health, and
in gender, culture and health. It is also closely affiliated with MARCS
Auditory Laboratories, a University Research Centre focussed on auditory
perception and cognition, particularly in the fields of speech and language,
and music, sound and action. MARCS houses a world-class range of equipment
and facilities, and a strong research and technical support team.

Successful applicants will hold a PhD in psychology, will have an
established record of research and publication, and demonstrated expertise
in quality teaching. Successful applicants will have a teaching reduction in
the first three years.

Appointees may be based at either the Bankstown or Penrith Campus of UWS.

The University reserves the right to appoint at an Academic Level B
(Lecturer) or Level C (Senior Lecturer) depending upon the skills,
qualifications and experience of the successful applicants.

*Remuneration Package:
Academic Level B* $88,749 to $104,726 p.a. (comprising Salary $74,994 to
$88,556 p.a., 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading);

$104,831 p.a., 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading).
