There is not worthwhile public transport from the airport. Better to walk
from
chicago to reno and catch a bus.

This is not a joke, Helena. There is some public transport around UCSD but
SD was
designed for $.25cent gas and you will have to take a shuttle to or several
hours
to get here from the airport.
