This isn't especially relevant to topics here, but I know some here will
be interested.
I think the "Louisiana Science Education Act" is what the
anti-evolutionists have been seeking for decades: a way to bring
creationism into public school classrooms that won't be so easily defeated
in the courts. (Pro-science folks are saying it will be defeated in the
courts. As a lawyer, I'm not so sure.)
Some were hoping that the bill would be vetoed by the Governor (as it was
in Oklahoma). Some took hope knowing Gov. Jindal studied Biology at Brown.
As it turns out, though, it would have been more predictive to consider
his history as an exorcist !!! See
