Yes, very interesting/sobering invitation to think hard about the way in
which
the socio-cultural context shapes the meaning over various "professionally
motivated" policy announcements (never mind simple utterances!). Makes it
hard to learn from history, even when we might be tempted to think that
the lessons of history are unambiguous (A habit I may not be alone in
sometimes falling in to).
