*Lewis and Clark College:* The Department of Psychology invites applicants
for two tenure track assistant professor positions beginning Fall 2008.
Lewis and Clark College is a private liberal arts college with 2000
undergraduates. The typical teaching load is five courses per academic year,
including the opportunity to participate in the college's first-year general
education course. The two positions are as follows: *DEVELOPMENTAL
PSYCHOLOGY: *The candidate will regularly teach Introductory Psychology,
Psychology Methodology, and a specialty course of one's choice. In addition,
the candidate must have the ability to teach courses in both child and adult
developmental psychology. Research area is open and a Ph.D. in Developmental
Psychology is essential. The Committee will begin reading applications on
October 15, 2007; the
 position remains open until it is filled. *Cognitive
Neuroscience:* The candidate will regularly teach Introduction to
Psychology, Brain and Behavior, an Upper Division laboratory-based
Neuroscience course, and a specialty course of one's choice. A Ph.D. in
Psychology with a neuroscience emphasis is required. The Committee will
begin reading applications on November 10, 2007; the
 position remains open
until it is filled. Candidates for both positions are expected to develop
and seek external funding for an active research program that holds promise
of national recognition and can incorporate undergraduate collaborators in a
small liberal arts setting. Excellent teaching credentials and an
appreciation of the role of research at an undergraduate institution are
essential. Applications should include: (1) a Vita; (2) a statement of
educational philosophy, teaching experience, and research interests; (3)
evidence of teaching effectiveness; (4) examples of scholarship; and (5)
