Hi and thank you for your attention!

My name is Christine Greenhow (University of Minnesota) and I am a recent
addition to the MCA list and AERA CHAT-SIG member and CSCL/ISLS member. My
colleague and I are looking for suggestions of top journals (5-29%
acceptance rate) in addition to MCA that welcome CHAT-oriented empirical
work.

We recently conducted a CHAT-oriented study to understand the collective
practices involved in the design and development of distance education
courses in a university setting and seek to publish our findings in a top
peer reviewed journal.

Our first article from this work (currently under review) introduced a new
method-- Activity-Oriented Design Methods (AODM) (Mwanza, 2004) based on
Activity Theory-- and discussed how these methods can inform instructional
design and development within distance education programs.

We have enjoyed reading Roth & Lee's June 2007 RER article on Activity
Theory and the recent Toolforthoughts article in MCA and look forward to
joining the conversation.

Thank you for any journal suggestions you can give or even, where to look!
