I am working on my thesis related to literacy- play interface among kindergarteners, specially five years old kids.
Phillip, not only you may consider Reggio Emilia´s proposal but also an italian shcolar named Francesco Tonucci a.k.a Frato, very well known in Latin America.
I do not know if he has issued books in English, but in Argentina is a good reference among teachers.
