I know the scaffolding discussion wound up a while back, but I was just
today reading an interview with Jerry Bruner done in 1997, include an
excerpt below. I recall the initial question was something along the
lines of "Can Bruner be considered the godfather (??) of scaffolding in
the U.S?"
