Marcel Danesi, the new editor of the journal Semiotica
(http://www.degruyter.de/rs/384_409_DEU_h.htm) has asked me to put
together a special issue on the broad topic of Semiotics and Education.
I am going to write up a formal call for papers after I have my nervous
breakdown (by the first of the year), but I thought I would give you
folks a heads up. Basically I will ask for a title and 100 word summary
to see if it fits and then ask you to meet a deadline for initial
submission of (probably) August.
