Eugene and Jayson --
Consider: G.H Mead "father of symbolic interactionism" (along with
Kenneth Burke who uses dramatic metaphor and inspires not only
Jim Wertsch)). Mead is student of W. Dilthey, "opponent" of Wundt and
"scientific" psychology, but also "father" or "volkerpsikholgie."
Cultural-historical school seeks to reconcile Wundt and Dilthey.
There is certainly a lot to talk about, but Eugene must go off of
sabbatical or none of us will have spare time!
