Presented on BBC america on Wednesday, an analyst stated that the recent attack
was against the world, against civilization, against world trade and world
capitalism -- not the U.S. alone. In contradiction, the man believed to be the
individual who most inspired much of Tuesday's violence is a multi-millionaire.
And in contrast, and my last contribution to this topic, are some words by a
very different kind of man, with a very different kind of inspiration.
"Nonviolence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier
than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man."
"Non-cooperation is a protest against an unwitting and unwilling participation
in evil."
Mahatma Gandhi
