Oops! I just realized that in my recent posting I mis-edited: what I
meant was that being asked to "tone it down" was a device to deny my
story, to claim that my story was a "tempest in a teacup". Sorry if that
line caused puzzlement (and extra-sorry if it messed up my story!)
