Michelle Fine, Lois Weis and some others produced a film a few years back
on detracking 9th grade English in one school. Sorry I can't recall the
title but I know it's available. A bit more polished than raw ethnographic
data, but interesting representations of (cross) cultural communication.

Fred Erickson, it seems to me, was doing some thinking about setting up a
web-accessible linked resource of filmed classroom events taken from
research.
