Thanks for the reminder.
My colleagues and I from Sydney university, Australia, are really interested
in the CHAT SIG activities for AERA next year. Perhaps, we may try to work
out something for a session.
>Carmen Mercado became secretary and our new beloved Treasurer Jennifer
>Vandencour reports we are only 7 members short of gaining one more slot (4)
>in the program. Please twist some arms and join us or get someone who is
>an AERA member to do so, you may contact her to join and there is still
>time!!!!!
Regarding AERA membership, I've recently sent in my application, and wonder
if that will be of any use in terms of helping you guys to gain one more
slot in the programme.
>For those who are new to the list and are not sure about all this, the deal
>is that we have a small cultural historical activity theory Special
>Interest Group (n=152 with several yet needing to re-join/pay up 5.00) at
>AERA (American Educational Research Association)
In addition, I've made some enquiries about the SIG group at AERA, but have
not received any information whatsoever thus far. Could anyone let me know
who to contact regarding this?
Thanks
Victoria
