Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology

The Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at Indiana
University, Bloomington, invites applications for a tenure line Assistant
Professor position, specializing in the Learning, Cognition and
Instruction (LCI) program within the Educational Psychology faculty.
Successful applicants will have a doctoral degree in educational
psychology or a closely related field and show evidence of a strong
research program related to LCI, relevant teaching competency, and
ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in the Department and
throughout the School of Education. This person will conduct research,
teach graduate and undergraduate courses, mentor graduate students,
supervise associate instructors and participate in the various initiatives
of the School of Education in undergraduate and graduate program
innovation.
The Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology includes three
specializations: educational psychology and APA accredited programs in
counseling and school psychology. The department also plays a major role
in pre-service and in-service teacher education. We are housed in a
state-of-the-art School of Education building with a multimillion dollar
technological infrastructure, so there are abundant opportunities for
