Multilingual Studies: Bilingual Education
98-99 Academic Year
*Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) is intended for practitioners in the
field of bilingual education. This degree program promotes a critical
perspective of educational practices as they relate to teaching and
learning within a dual language instructional environment.
*Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) is a research oriented degree
program, and it is designed for individuals who intend to work mainly in
the area of primary research in the fields of bilingual education and the
education of linguistically and culturally diverse populations.
