Position Announcement
Educational Psychology: Assistant Professor, 9 month, Tenure Track. The
Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Oklahoma's
College of Education has an opening in the Instructional Psychology and
Technology program for an individual with background and interest in
statistics, educational research methods, and other topics related to
instructional psychology and technology.
Required qualifications: earned doctorate in Educational Psychology, or
related field, with emphasis in statistics; evidence of scholarly
potential.
Preferred qualifications: Research or scholarly publications dealing with
instructional issues. Experience in the following: teaching college level
statistics and research methods courses; grant writing; and program
and/or curriculum development in educational statistics. Expertise
in two or more of the following: Multivariate statistics; structural
equation modeling; multiple regression; exploratory data analysis.
Familiarity with qualitative research methods.
Responsibilities: Providing leadership in the design and delivery of
graduate courses in educational statistics; teaching graduate level
educational research methods courses; conducting programatic research;
pursuing external funding; providing service to the
University and profession.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Starting date: 8/17/98.
