vol.12(4) 135-141. And thanks Leigh for your comment about the
indeterminancy of the past re. negative development. That
certainly resonnates to me with these transformations of
experience (house cleaning!). And I do so much want to believe
that while none of it can be erased it can all be transformed...
About the cases of psychosis and schitzophrenia mentioned by Jay
and Judith, I am wondering what experts (e.g.; psychaitrists?) on
such matters would say. You make it sound as though these are
common everyday cases, examples of negative development. My
question is do people suffering such illness actually live
everyday familly lives which would supply such negative
developmental ZPDs? Alternatively you may be saying that indeed
these are prevalent cases, that do not pertain to the realm of
ilness.
