old categories

Dear Colleagues,
As a consequence of the process of trying to reinstitute xorgan
as a separate discussion, I have stumbled on the fact that all of the old
categories still exist as legitimate addresses, all of which flow
into xmca. They include xlchc, xedu, xgrad, and one other I forget at the
moment. I have asked Bruce to disconnect them, but not to kill them. Rather,
perhaps one or more of these "old categories" which were once intermediary
instruments for our efforts to increase the richness of our interactions,
will again become relevant.
Meantime, I look forward to discussion on xorgan with those among
you who have new intermediate instruments to propose and implement.

P.S. Seems to me that the work of Leigh Starr and her colleagues is
relevant to thinking about these matters.
