Formal manuscript submissions (in triplicate, alas!) should be
sent to David:
Dept. of Teaching and Learning
Box 330, Peabody College of Education
Vanderbilt University
Nashville, TN 37203
as should general editorial correspondence. If you have questions
about the suitability of a manuscript, or policy issues regarding
the journal, or would like me to advise you about procedures, please
email me at:
JLLBC who-is-at CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU
I am also happy to receive mss directly if they are in an area
of my special interest -- but that can be a rather broad category!
Work using functional linguistic perspectives, social semiotics,
multimedia analysis, or focussing on science and mathematics
education usually gets routed through me anyway. Work which draws
heavily on theoretical perspetives deriving from Bakhtin or, less
exclusively, Vygotsky-Leontiev is also appropriate to send to me.
It is usually best to route things through David when in doubt,
or if sending a final ms in triplicate, and through me if seeking
advice prior to a formal submission. JAY.
