I also would like to see the archives maintained available
on the website; perhaps a disclaimer note can be added to the
entry page for these that they are informal contributions to
ongoing discussions and that permission to quote or cite should
be sought from the original author. This conforms to our in-house
conventions about such things.

I'm eager to see Yrjo's and other papers available on the website
as well. It is a good cross-platfrom solution to file transfer
and decoding problems. As someone who has sent out innumerable
copies of various papers I've offered to this group in the last
few years, I really welcome this hopefully much more efficient
way of sharing our work with each other! Many thanks to Mike
and all at UCSD for their work to make this possible.

Finally, updating and 'maintaining' websites is becoming a
time-consuming full-time business (for many reasons), and I
think that we have to share responsibility, and extend a large
measure of tolerance, for outdated information that will pile
up. If people want to update their Intro's, that's great, and
probably the easiest way (for the sitekeepers) is to resubscribe
and get your new Intro automatically added. I don't suppose,
however that the old one will get deleted. Maybe a note on
the site to search for Intro's from most recent date backwards
would help (not sure if this is practical). JAY.
