Hi Pentti, Don't know whether this will be exactly on target but
Artin Goncu has I believe written a lot about children's play in
the LCHC Newsletter I have seen and I think that he is right here
on xmca too.

PS. Piagetian conservation task in "going shopping": an anecdote.
Give a child a nickel and a dime (US currency) and ask which is
more. It is the nickel of course because the coin is bigger.
And don't try to explain otherwise, because how could a dime
be more that a nickel when it is smaller.
