Phil,
I was intrigued by your description of how you do your classes, but left
with a few questions. First, what level (graduate, under-grad) are the
students in these courses? Second, how are the courses themselves
structured? You indicate, for example, that you are doing some lecturing.
Do you lecture all the way through or only at the beginning? Is lecturing
eventually phased out in favor of student presentations? Other than
critiquing each other's drafts are the students encouraged to work
collaboratively on their projects?
