In the fall we are implementing an all University of California
"joint class" around issues of diversity and development. Our classes
all meet at slightlty different times, so that literally linking
different sites will be a rare event. However, that does not preclude
interaction where different sites take turns as initiatiors. How might
we think about organizing such forms of distances learning. We can
lecture each other. We can show each other examples. But are there
principles to help us think about how to organize joint activity
through telecommunications to the benefit of higher education?
