I can best be described, right now, as tanned, blistered and energized. I
won't claim to have the energy, strength or character of my friends in Iowa,
but maybe some of it has rubbed off on this pale, urbanized academic. I have
been video and audiotaping on construction sites, listening to the rhetoric of
working men. I'm sure you all will be tired of my examples by the time I
get the book written.

Get well soon to Cheryl, and thanks to Mike for finding me out here in the
netherworld of lost resubscribers.
