I am an educ/dev. psychologist interested in research concerning intellectual/
social development, cultural adaptation, family interaction. I am preparing
to spend a semester in Cali Colombia next semester and hope to stay in
touch thru XMCA. I'm currently working on a project involving immigrant (1.5)
generation) students from San Diego and Miami (N=5,000) and their school
adaptation. I hope to continue work re. cultural influences on parent-child
interaction, social identities, schooling outcomes from a cultural-historical
lens.
