I am a Scot, and a graduate in Archaeology from Durham University. I then
went on to do a Masters in Psychology (by research), also at Durham. I'm
still here. Currently, I am working with Charles Crook on a project looking
at the influence of IT on the culture of student learning. I am also doing
a Phd on a part-times basis with Jim Good. The field of study for my Phd is
the ecology of skilled practice. The practices in question are those of
archaeology.

My top three living philosophers are Stanley Cavell, Stanley Rosen and
Vincent Descombes.

Top dead philosophers constantly read are R.G.Collingwood, Wittgenstein,
and perhaps Simone Weil as well.

John Calvin seems to be geting a good bit of attention at the moment as is
the Scottish Reformation and its role in founding universal education in
Scotland.

As to my character, I suspect I am a fair representative of that condition
known as the Caledonian Antizyzygy(the divided Scot).

That will do for now. Bye
