Time flies. The polls are open for the next issue of MCA. There are only
two articles to choose from this
quarter because the issue is full of fascinating book reviews. At the
moment, its a 50-50 situation.
So please check the options, both interesting and relevant, and choose one
for discussion.
As an expression of personal preference, it would be great if people who
voted for one or another article
*for discussion* actually participated in the discussion. To ask questions,
make critical suggestions, whatever. But somewhere someone must have said
the right to vote is accompanied by the responsibility to engage the the
consequences of that vote.

PS- This announcement in no way indicates lack of interest in pursuing the
issues raised by Chuck Bazerman. Seems to me that Elliott is describing
concepts in writing and rising to the concrete at the same time, but poetry
dont get no respect around here unless quoted by Vygotsky! :-))
