Thanks for these papers. I've been looking for a path into some of the literature on animal cognition. Gotta start somewhere sometime.

And you are quite right, offering 6 cents back for every 2 you put in makes for a horrible wage rate, if answering questions in writing is involved. But its a pretty good ROI rate, yes? What capitalist wouldn't jump at 300%? I guess one can see which kind of class thinking really matters to you! Same as me! LOL

Just enough for me to take a shot at this one, with the attached (studies both in captivity and in the wild). (Note that in these articles, "intentional" is used in the everyday sense of "deliberate," where the "intentionality" that Stern was talking about was Brentano's kind.)
