Hi everyone,
Thank you all for your concern. I am currently in Salamanca
University, Spain, so the earthquake did not affect me at all. My
family is in Nagoya, Japan, and they are fine, far away from the
troubled zone. Unfortunately, we have been quite on the edge following
the news on radiation leaks at one nuclear plant because my in laws
live close to the site. We just have learnt that they are fine.
While in Spain I have been translating news from Japan to the Spanish
public through the Spanish daily El Mundo, just to help people who may
not know the Japanese language. I was very busy right after the
catastrophe.
The earthquake has caused unimaginable damage. Time to mend ourselves.
I will go back to Japan on the 30th.
All the best.
