I just watched PBS from Detroit and they were interviewing Tomesello
in a documentary narrated by Alan Alda called "The Human Spark" It
is the 2nd part of a 3 part series. Next week is the role of
language is evolutionary human development. Today's program focused
on the centrality of "teaching and learning" as the social
foundation of what makes us unique.
It's fascinating to see these topics discussed on public TV.
They also say that there is an interactive website that can be
accessed from PBS.
It is being telecast at 8PM tonight Pacific Time on the West Coast.
I hope this e-mail reaches some of you in time to watch it.
