Re: [xmca] Fodor against Darwin



To clarify the clarification: It is the issue linked from David's message, although that issue is not the current (this) issue.

Fodor isn't taken vary seriously on this. He takes some shots at forms of evolutionary psychology that are questionable, but then he tries to extend his argument to an argument that Darwinism cannot work in principle in the biological sphere. His training in philosophy does not equip him to contend against the scientists and mathematicians in their domains of expertise.
