Andy:
Yes I would agree. Thank you. In mulling over the idea of Cs I reread
some Basov (those who know Basov would recognize the term "process
structure") as well as some Valsiner (who alos liked the term "process
structure"). IMHO the definition has to include the transitioning (some
would say dialectic, I like the term transition) aspect between the sensed
and the acted. The material aspect of language forces me to use examples.
Perhaps it was a poor example? During my waking hours there appears to
be times when I am not conscious of what I am doing (i.e driving the same
route home i can arrive home and realize I have forgotten to get the
groceries because it is almost an uncounscious act to follow the road and
listen to Buddy Guy playing the blues). So, referring to LSV's definition
below my unconscious act of following a set route could be referred to as
a reflex?

What about this Eric, from Vygotsky's famous 6 January 1924
speech:
"And the act of thought, the act of consciousness is in our
opinion not a reflex, that is, it cannot also be a stimulus,
but it is the transmission mechanism between systems of
reflexes."

That's like yours, but somewhat more general, not involving
rent and jobs.
