RE: [xmca] ning

Mike et al., I haven't registered with this ning, or Facebook, or any other
social networking website. From what I can tell they are a lot of fun but
incredibly time-consuming. I can't keep up with my current work, so adding
new social networks would really put me over the edge.

For the NCTE ning, you'd have to join NCTE, I suppose, and really be
interested in what their members like to talk about (teaching literature,
writing, language, etc.; and these days no doubt "21st century literacies"
which are all the rage).

But apparently, you can create one around anything. See http://www.ning.com/
And as always, Wikipedia explains it all: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ning

Do you recommend ning for the intended purposes
