Re: [xmca] CONGRATULATIONS MIKE!!!!!!

Yes, that is the way the Scribner Award works, I believe. It is the only academic award I know anything about! LOL Mike's talk will be at the 2010 AERA conference. I remember when Kris won the award one year, and then gave a great talk the next. I think she was the first recipient. I wasn't able to attend Kris's talk itself, but AERA put it on tape and I was able to get one, and I really enjoyed it. So we can look forward to Mike's talk, and hopefully a good recording of it, in a year.

Congratulations, Mike!

As I recall, the award comes in one year and the talk comes the next, but I might be mixing it up with a different award. Any Scribner winners out there
who can help out?

Congratulations, Mike.
I presume you will give the Scribner award talk at AERA this spring. I look
forward to seeing and hearing you there.
