Eugene Garcia (formerly of OBEMLA and current affiliation of Arizona State University)is serving on Obama's Education Agency Review Team. Kris D. Gutierrez (UCLA) is working on his Education Policy Transition Team. These scholars have long supported the needs of multilingual and Latino children in U.S. schools.
