[xmca] Fwd: NYTimes.com: African Idyll

While writing remarks for the ISCAR meeting, I encountered this article
which describes the events the followed upon the good intentioned research I
conducted
there in the two decades leading up to these events.

As I recall, our goal was to improve people's lives through more effective
education.
