The Department of Communication at The University of Memphis seeks to
hire a one-year appointment at the assistant professor level in
Electronic Media. PhD desired, but candidates with a MA will also be
considered, especially those who have experience working in the
broadcast industry. Teaching responsibilities include some
combination of three courses per semester in traditional and/or new
media studies, such as history of electronic media, computer mediated
communication, audio production, and broadcast management.
