I uderstand Mike. My use of Dr. Cole was a small token of respect for the
gratitude I have for your relentless pursuit of understanding in the field
of cultural historical activity theory. I understand the cultural
convention because in my teaching profession I have always insisted all
address me by my first name and usually the only time I get upset is when I
am called late for dinner : )

Eric. if you are Eric, I am mike.
Sort of a southern california cultural convention to use first names that
can be very
irritating in some situations, but important, I believe, not to haul out
credentials in
this discussion group because it only gets in the way of participation.
This
is a mutual
growth enterprise, not a status marking one.
