About the Program
James Watson, the Nobel Prize-winning co-discoverer of the structure
of DNA, talks about his life and his experiences as a scientist. During
this event, hosted by the Los Angeles Public Library, Mr. Watson is
interviewed by K.C. Cole, former science reporter for the Los Angeles
Times.
About the Author
James Watson, co-recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology (1962),
recently resigned as chancellor of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. He
is the author of "DNA" and "Genes, Girls, and Gamow."
