Dear Folks,
As there has been discussion of cooperative efforts to create more
meaningful entries in Wikipedia of the concepts thrown around here,
some might be interested in a very recent podcast from the ABC (the
Australian kind) program, the Philosophers' Zone. You can listen and/
or download it from the link below, and the synopsis of the program
follows.
My experience with Wikipedia is quite bumpy and the spin that many
politically motivated people put in there makes it a resource to be
used with the utmost critical eye, as bb recently demonstrated.

capitalism, argued that the free market was a self-correcting
mechanism: a lot of people seeking profits for themselves would
produce general public benefit. But does it work with ideas? Can
there be an encyclopedia that corrects itself, as it grows ever
larger on the Web?
