Well, I'm half paid. I voted a few days ago.
The message to xmca is a question about the presentations at ISCRAT.
Were there any papers on the use of CHAT to exam the status of minority
(including language), immigrants, and/or impoverished groups in
'developed' countries? Seems like a natural CHAT topic.

Along those lines I have just started reading the new book by Seth and
Mariane with the intriguing title "Radical-Local Teaching and Learning:
A Cultural Historical Approach". It is about their work in the after
school project in East Harlem. I am just learning the meaning of
'radical-local' and working toward the application part.

Esteban Diaz
ps thanks for the papers
