The Department of Psychology at the University of Oregon invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of
DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY. We are interested in applicants with advanced
training and expertise in the investigation of phenomena and mechanisms of
development. A broad variety of methodologies and perspectives on
development will be considered. Candidates should have an active research
program and a commitment to excellence in teaching. Members of
underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Ph.D. by Fall
2006 required. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, a 2-3 page
statement on research and teaching interests, and selected manuscripts, and
should have at least three letters of recommendation sent to: Development
Search Committee, Department of Psychology, 1227 University of Oregon,
Eugene, OR, 97403-1227. For full consideration, materials should be
received by November 15, 2005. The University of Oregon is an EOE/AA/ADA
