I might also suggest Danny Miller and Don Slater's /The Internet: An
Ethnographic Approach /(2000, Berg). It's more of an ethnography of
internet usage (Miller is an anthropologist, Slater a sociologist) so
slightly different focus- but still useful for ideas on doing online
research. It's a slightly outdated but pioneering book, and Don
especially has been doing more work in this vein over the past few years
that may be of interest.
