On Wednesday, July 28, one of the hottest days of the year,
Giumarra Vineyards Corp. grape picker Asuncion Valdivia, 53,
became ill and died after a company foreman cancelled a call for
paramedics who might have saved his life.

  Please help the UFW urge growers to prevent further tragic
