Following up the discussion of arms, I'd like to recommend the last
movie of Gus Van Sant, "Elephant", which portrays artistically the
issue of school shootings. The movie is inspired on the Columbine
shootings but goes quite beyond the particulars and is placed in a
different location. Thus, the director can freely move to create his
own narrative interpretation of the nature of school culture in North
America. I really recommend it.
